Oral presentations
Presenters are advised to finalize their presentations well in
advance. Please hand over your presentation file to the congress
organizers in the speakers preparation room either on CD or on a USB
data stick, not later than 08:00 a.m. on the presentation day. Conference staff
will be present in the speakers’ preparation room during the coffee
breaks and the last 30 minutes of the lunch breaks, so oral presenters
can hand in their presentation file well in advance of their allotted
presentation time.
Presenters and the chairperson of each block of presentations are
urged to meet in the respective seminar rooms 15 minutes before start of
their block of presentations.
Presentation time is 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for
questions/discussion. Please make sure your presentation does not take
longer, chairpersons are advised to strictly follow the schedule and
interrupt if necessary.
A notebook of the same type (and with the same software) as the one
used for the presentations is accessible in the authors’ preparation
room. The installed standard software includes Microsoft Windows Vista,
Microsoft Office 2007 and Adobe Acrobat Reader 10. For technical
questions concerning the presentation please ask in the authors’
preparation room. Notebook, data projector ("beamer") and laser pointer
will all be available for the presentations.
Poster presentations
The size of each poster is restricted to a maximum size of DIN A0 (90
cm x 120 cm / 35.4” × 47.2"). Each poster presentation will be limited
to one A0 poster in the portrait format. Poster panels and material to
fix your poster to the poster panel will be provided.
Presenters will
receive information about where to fix their poster in the course of
registration.
